This series of three canvases made of patchwork and embroidery is inspired directly by Léa Stuby’s dreams, which she transcribed over 27 nights. She extracted the most striking elements and transposed them onto a white canvas, in chronological order. Her artistic approach is based mainly on the dream world, which plays an important role in her world, as dreams are a reality in their own right. A world of the unconscious and surreal emerges through her world. She creates visual worlds to allow viewers to create their own, by immersing themselves in her images. Deeply involved in mental health issues, Léa Stuby will be drawing on her own experiences to share them with the public, with the aime of raising awareness of the need to listen to people and to break down the taboos associated with mental suffering, especially the stigma attached to it.
